Neon describes herself as a "music nerd girl". A bit neurotic, a bit persistent, with a touch of gentle hysteria. She loves to dance in her bedroom, sing in the chaos, and blend love, reliance, doubt, and dreams into the rhythms.

As a Gen Z music digger growing up in the internet age, the music of the world has never had boundaries for her. Immersed in various beats beyond extrication, with a near-"hyperactive" creative intuition, she collages every flash of inspiration brushing past her ears into her very own pop music.

Perhaps many friends first came to know Neon through her independent music group BRAINFREEZE. As one of the masterminds, Neon has always maintained a sharp cultural insight, turning collective whimsical ideas into music. This time, she turns her perspective entirely toward herself, letting those "hyperactive" inspirations unfold freely in her solo creations!

In Neon's creations, you might clearly see that "Shibuya-kei spirit" that has influenced many music nerds: A pluralistic, eclectic, and playful pop musicism. This is not a mechanical copy of some retro musical style, but a cross-time-and-space aesthetic resonance. In an era when "everyone took pride in being a tasteful music aficionado," a group of young people so obsessed with music absorbed nutrients from all over the world with a "de-genre-ized" creation method, rebuilding a fresh, intellectual, and metropolitan grand architecture of music upon the ruins.

The cultural frenzy whipped up during Japan's lost decades is revived once again in Neon's internet-nurtured ears. Neon effortlessly fishes out those charming sound anchors and digests them into her collage-style creations: The groove of 90s R&B, the coziness of Bossa Nova, the tactile feel of electro-pop... She doesn't strive to be an expert in any single style, but instead borrows this free will of "unrestrained by styles, collaging everything" to create her own groove. This pure energy of "turning everything you love into music" is precisely Neon's most core creative DNA.
