✦ Dizkar x MAJOR YAO x Retro Sound Master Allen Parker fully recreate the 1970s sonic aesthetic

The mixing for this special project was crafted by renowned American mixing engineer Allen Parker and Mintone’s ace producer MAJOR YAO.
Early in his career, Allen Parker built an outstanding industry reputation through collaborations with superstars such as OutKast, Sheryl Crow, and Blake Shelton.
In recent years, he has been especially acclaimed for crafting retro sounds for music stars such as CeeLo Green, The Black Keys, Aaron Frazer, and Yola.
For this brand-new EP, Dizkar sought to create a retro sound exclusive to the 1970s. In addition to bringing the arrangement, instrumentation, and vocals as close as possible to the production approach of soul music from that era, to achieve a better sonic presentation, he also reached across the ocean to invite retro-sound specialist Allen Parker and Mintone’s ace producer MAJOR YAO to handle the EP’s mixing. Allen Parker was amazed that Dizkar, from faraway China, could create a musical style from 50 years ago. Dizkar also became the first Asian artist Allen Parker has collaborated with, and Parker crafted a beautiful retro sound for him.
