BIOGRAPHY
Mia Aim is a Mainland Chinese urban soul singer of the Yi ethnic group, born on November 14, 1988, in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. She graduated from the Business English Department of Southwest Jiaotong University and is currently a signed artist with Mingtang Records.
In her musical career, Mia Aim reached the top eight nationwide in Southeast Television’s New Faces competition in 2007 and won third place nationwide in Shandong Television's The Sound of Nature in 2012. Her vocals received high praise from renowned producer Gao Xiaosong, who remarked, "She has already moved past the stage of showing off vocal techniques; her singing ability ranks number one."
After signing with Mingtang Records in 2019, she collaborated with prominent rappers such as Lu1, Cee, and Gali on tracks like "Bonjour & Goodnight," earning her the title "Queen of Chinese Rap Features" from hip-hop media. That same year, she released the singles "Peonies Under" and "Honey," both collaborations with German producer TESK. She later performed at the FullHouse Music Festival in Nanjing in 2023, contributed to Mingtang Records' collaborative seasonal album Urban Soul Sanctuary in 2024, and released the single "Love Theory" in 2025.
